Hyatt Regency Hangzhou appoints Mr. Enzo Carbone as Executive Chef

Hyatt Regency Hangzhou is pleased to introduce Mr. Enzo Carbone as its new Executive Chef. Hailing from the Italian city of Naples, Enzo developed his passion for fine cuisine from the tender age of 14 in the family kitchen prior to commencing his global journey with study in both Italy and Switzerland.  Enzo’s rich experience in the culinary arts has taken him to England, New Zealand, Hong Kong and then to Shanghai in 2000, where he opened Cucina at Grand Hyatt Shanghai culminating with the awarding of the prestigious ‘Ambassador of the Culinary Arts’ from the Italian Premio Guido Alciati Turin.

Enzo respects the local culture, sourcing sustainable, quality ingredients from local vendors and markets.  He is passionate about creating unique delicacies with ingredients from local cultures, and continues to pursue the introduction of new culinary methods and perspectives.

We are delighted to welcome Chef Enzo back to the Hyatt family via his appointment as Executive Chef of Hyatt Regency Hangzhou.
